A word from Brad
It’s been a very busy month running workshops along the east coast and in WA. Also we held TEDxPerth on October 4th which was broadcast across Australia and was the number 1 trending topic on Twitter Australia for the day.
Also I’m looking forward to attending the Gazelles Fortune Growth Summit next week in Las Vegas with Ben Horowitz (Venture Capitalist), Kevin Harrington (Shark Tank), Liz Wiseman (Multipliers), Keith Ferrazzi and Jack Daly amongst others. I will provide an overview of their messages in future newsletters.
I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to attend the Deloitte Australia company wide summit where the Australian CEO addressed all employees live via satellite. What really struck me was the two message he reinforced many times over; 1. The benefit of working here is that it will help you get your next job as it is impressive on your resume and 2. We are doing work that matters. Seemed strange at the time, but on reflection he was speaking directly to Millennials (Gen Y) about what is most important to them. Are you speaking the language Gen Y wants to hear?
